May 21, 2026 · San Francisco · Invite Only

Canvas Medical's inaugural customer summit.

An intimate day of building alongside the engineers who made the platform - and the customers pushing it furthest.

Canvas BUILD 2026
The Shift

Customizing your EHR shouldn't require a dev team.

Until now, building on Canvas meant Python, a dev environment, and specialized skills. That kept the people who understand clinical workflows locked out of the building process.

Before BUILD

Extending Canvas required Python expertise, command-line tools, and a full development environment. Clinical and operations leaders had to describe what they needed and wait for engineering to build it. Good ideas sat in backlogs for months.

After BUILD

Describe what you need in plain English. Canvas Studio builds the plugin, tests it, and deploys it - without leaving Canvas. The people closest to the problem become the people who solve it. Every attendee leaves with working code.

What You Get

This is not a conference. You will ship code.

12

Canvas team members at your table

Not on a stage. At your table, pair-programming, debugging, and helping you deploy before you leave.

2

Tracks for every skill level

Developers get full SDK access with Canvas Plugin Assistant. Everyone else gets Canvas Studio - no code required.

1

Product launch you'll use first

Canvas Studio debuts at BUILD. Attendees get beta access starting May 20, ahead of general availability in Q3 2026.

Product Launch

Introducing Canvas Studio

Build plugins by describing what you need. No Python. No dev environment. No backlog.

Describe it. Studio builds it.

An AI coding agent built into Canvas that turns natural language into working plugins. Test and deploy without leaving your browser.

The people closest to the problem become the people who solve it.

Clinical leaders, operations teams, and practice managers describe what they need the same way they'd explain it to a colleague. Studio writes the code, tests it, and deploys it.

BUILD attendees get beta access starting May 20. General availability Q3 2026.

FAQ

Questions.

Who is this for?

BUILD is invite-only for Canvas customers, partners, and developers actively building on the platform. Space is limited to keep it intimate and hands-on. Request an invite and tell us what you're building.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The Studio track is designed for clinical and operations leaders who want to build using natural language. The developer track (CPA) is for people comfortable with code. Both are fully guided by the Canvas team.

What is Canvas Studio?

An AI coding agent built into Canvas. Describe what you want in plain English - Studio writes the code, tests it, and deploys it. Built on the Canvas SDK and Anthropic's Claude. BUILD attendees get beta access starting May 20.

What should I bring?

Your laptop. Developer track: install Claude Code and CPA beforehand (setup instructions sent after invite). Studio track: just a browser. WiFi, power, and all meals provided.

Is there a cost?

BUILD is complimentary for invited attendees. All meals and events included. Attendees cover their own travel and hotel.
